Paraguayan Residence 

It is the authorization granted by the National Directorate of Migrations for a specified period to foreigners who enter the country intending to settle down to carry out a lawful activity, under the conditions established by the Migration Law No. 6984/22 and its regulations.

BENEFITS:

• Obtaining the status of 'precarious resident' while the process of Temporary Residence is underway at the National Directorate of Migrations (this status enables them to leave and re-enter the country, study, and work for the duration of the same).

• Access to the Paraguayan Identity Card, issued by the National Police's Identification Department, with the same validity period as their Temporary Residence."
